UNIVERSITY PROJECT - HISTORY OF TRANSPORTATION DESIGN
I made some historic car renderings for my transportation design history course in Pforzheim. I chose to make mass production cars from different makes and countries from 1900 to the 1980s.

The Oldsmobile Curved Dash (USA) from 1901 was one of the first mass production vehicles. White tires were state of-art at that time!
Austin Seven (GB), 1922-1939. A very successful small car.
Volkswagen "Beetle" (Germany), 1939 - 2003. The most-produced car (over 21 millions were built) in the world.
Fiat 600 (Italy), 1955 - 1973. Small size was perfect for italian cities.

Citroen Ami 6 (France), 1961 - 1970. Strange looking, based on the famous 2CV. 1.8 Millions were produced.

Volkswagen Golf (Germany), 1974 - 1983. The first generation of one of the most-produced cars in the world.
Honda Civic (Japan), 1983 - 1988. The third generation of a modern compact hatchback.
